Selfies OR Hyper-Superficiality Personified

Selfies: a projected image of our need to be liked. We are humans who need to be known, loved and liked. We also need to learn and then ultimately be useful in the world. Many of us are known and loved by our parents, but the liking needs to happen from our peers…and the issue with facebook liking is that the medium through which this liking happens is in itself not real.
